Zamfira Manor

The Zamfira Manor (Conacul Zamfira) is closely tied to the history of the Zamfira Monastery in Romania. This historical estate was initially established by Zamfira Apostoli, the widow of Manoil Apostol, a trusted man of Constantin Brâncoveanu. After her husband’s death, Zamfira dedicated the land for the monastery and the manor. Over time, the estate and the surrounding area became significant for both religious and architectural reasons, with the manor later integrated into the larger monastic complex.

This area, located near Prahova, became renowned for its religious and cultural heritage, notably with the Zamfira Monastery’s restoration and artistic contributions from famous Romanian artists like Nicolae Grigorescu, who painted murals in the mid-19th century

Zamfira Manor, built around 1780, was thoroughly scanned using the advanced Riegl VZ400i scanner. In just one day, we completed a highly detailed 3D scan of both the interior and exterior of the building. Our modern scanning techniques accurately captured the architectural details of this historic monument. As part of this project, we delivered precise section plans and detailed facades, useful for both accurate documentation of the structure and for restoration and conservation efforts. This technology is revolutionizing the way we preserve and study historical buildings, supporting conservation efforts for future generations.
